Q.

What are the check-in and check-out times for Hotel Zachary at Gallagher Way?

A.

Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure.


Q.

I made a reservation at Hotel Zachary, but now my travel plans have been changed and I need to amend the stay but the dates I need are not available. What should I do?

A.

Amendments to reservations are limited to availability. If the revised stay conflicts with a minimum length of stay requirement, the modification will not be possible.


Q.

Is there parking at Hotel Zachary?

A.

Yes, we have overnight valet parking available for $75 during baseball season and $65 in the off-season.  Parking is valid for a full 24-hour period with in-and-out privileges. Note, these rates are subject to change.

On days/nights of Cubs home games and concerts at Wrigley Field, the 44th Ward of Chicago has the authority to alter and limit traffic patterns in the area surrounding the hotel. This includes potential street closures that can run from two hours before game time/concert start until one hour after the event’s end time. 

As the hotel cannot assume liability for the City’s traffic control policies, we strongly recommend using ride share or public transportation whenever possible.

Do you offer packages that include a hotel room and tickets to a Cubs game?

A.

Hotel Zachary is not offering ticket-inclusive packages for the 2019 season, but it’s something we are considering for the future. If you would like to purchase tickets to a game, you can call 800-THE-CUBS (800-843-2827).


Q.

I am trying to make a reservation for a one-night stay over a concert, home game or other date but the website won’t show me a rate or allow me to book. Why not?

A.

On busier nights and weekends, there may be a minimum night stay required to book. These restrictions are not able to be overridden.


Q.

Are you pet friendly?

A.

We certainly are! Just be advised that there is a $75 pet fee, charged once per stay, for the deep cleaning of the room. There is no size limit on your furry friend, but we do limit each room to two pets. Please alert us when you make your reservation so we can surprise and delight the furriest member of your family.


Q.

Do you sell gift certificates?

A.

Hotel Zachary does not accept or sell gift certificates. However, guests can use Visa gift cards for their payment method.


Q.

Do you have a wedding package?

A.

Hotel Zachary offers the Alma Room — an intimate, stylish space that’s ideal for small private parties and special gatherings. The room is 1,000 square feet and can host up to 50 guests.

Outdoor weddings can be held in Gallagher Way, the open-air plaza located between Hotel Zachary and Wrigley Field. Other restaurants located adjacent to Hotel Zachary are also available to book for private events, and the American Airlines Conference Center, with spectacular views of Wrigley Field and Gallagher Way, is a perfect setting for wedding receptions of all sizes.

We also offer semi-private rental for half of our outdoor terrace for 25 people and The Library Room for 20 people, as well as half and total bar buy outs.

Family-style and reception-style catering and drink packages are available for bridal showers, baby showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, and corporate meetings and events.

I need a block of rooms or I am interested in private space. Who can I contact?

A.

For 10 or more rooms, please contact the sales department at Sales@hotelzachary.com.


Q.

What are The Bar at Hotel Zachary hours?

A.

Sunday through Thursday food is served from 11 AM – 10 PM, and the bar is open until midnight. Friday and Saturday food is served from 11 AM – 11 PM, and the bar is open until 1 AM.


Q.

Can I get an early check-in?

A.

Due to our high volume and occupancy, it is unlikely that an early check-in can be accommodated and is never guaranteed. However, we always do our best to accommodate if availability allows. If you arrive before check-in, our staff will happily store your luggage and make suggestions for local attractions to see while your room is being cleaned.


Q.

Is there a refrigerator in my room?

A.

Our rooms do not have refrigerators in them. If you require refrigeration, please let the desk know at check-in. We have a very limited availability at a first-come first-serve basis. These amenities are not guaranteed, but if available can be placed in your room.


Q.

Is coffee provided by the hotel?

A.

West Town Bakery & Tap is located on the first floor of our building and has developed a signature Architect Blend coffee just for our guests. Guests can visit West Town Bakery from 7 AM – 10 AM daily and present their room key to receive a complimentary cup of this signature blend.


Q.

Do you offer shuttle service to the hotel?

A.

With so many ways to get around Chicagoland, we do not maintain a hotel shuttle service and recommend a taxi and public transportation, or our staff is happy to recommend a local shuttle service.


Q.

How do I get to the hotel from the airports via public transit?

A.

From O’Hare: Take the Blue Line and get off at the Jackson stop. Then transfer to a northbound (towards Howard) Red Line train to the Addison stop. Back on street level, walk west on Addison Street and make a right on Clark Street where you’ll see the entrance to Hotel Zachary.

From Midway: Take the Orange Line to the Roosevelt stop and transfer to a northbound (towards Howard) Red Line to the Addison stop. Back on street level, walk west on Addison Street and make a right on Clark Street where you’ll see the entrance to Hotel Zachary.


Q.

Can I take pictures at the hotel?

A.

All guests are welcome to take snapshots. Please note that all professional photography or staged shoots require a permit obtained from our General Manager in advance, and fees may apply. The team can be reached at sales@hotelzachary.com.


Q.

Do you have a pool and/or spa offerings?

A.

Unfortunately, there is no pool or spa on property.
